Objective: 

1. To develop ability to create design sketches 2. To develop technical skills in designing.

CONTENT:

 

Pretreatment of cotton fabric- Desizing, Scouring, Bleaching                                   10 hrs

 

2.   Types of Repeats -  Plain, Vertical, Horizontal, Diagonal, Half drop/ drop repeat

Creating design sheets using the following repeats :              05 hrs

·   One Way

·   Two Way

·   Mirror Image

·   Jaal

·   All Over                                       

 

3.  Design and develop creative design sheets for the dress material of 

Kid’s wear, Girl’s wear and Boy’s wear.                                                    20 hrs

 

4. Stencil printing – Designing & Preparation of an article                                            10 hrs
