Objective: 

1. To equip with the technique of drawing various features of dresses.

2. To enhance the creative skill of drawing, sketching & rendering prints and textures

Unit I: 
COURSE CONTENT

Introduction to ideal body proportions                                     8 hrs

  Sketches related to different types of                                     12 hrs

  • Necklines
  • Sleeves
  • Collars
  • Yokes
  • Pockets
  • Skirts and Pants
  • Drawstring & Fastenings
  • Frills, Tucks, Gathers, & Pleats

Representing color wheel and color schemes.                           10 hrs

Rendering different fabrics with their prints and textures.        15 hrs

  • Woven, tweed, satin, denim, crepe, checks, stripes, floral,  Tissue, chiffon, net, pile, suede
