Objective: 
  1. To develop an understanding of elements of design.                                                  
  2. To develop a professional approach towards the thematic designing for textiles and  apparel.                                                                                                   
  3. Focuses on design details, creation of styles and rendering using the different media.

 

Unit I: 
COURSE CONTENT

1.      Preparation of various design sheets using elements of design in textiles            30 hrs                                 

2.      Line and Form– Geometric, Simplified, Naturalized, Stylized and Abstract.       10 hrs

3.      Colour – Colour Wheel, Intensity Scale, Gray Scale and Value Scale.                10 hrs

4.      Design development and fabric ornamentation with different techniques                                                                                           30 hrs

·         Preparation of design sheet

·         Develop theme on fabric

    5.  Product Development                                                        10 hrs
