The Students will be able to:

 

CLO116. Explain and various techniques of soft furnishings

 

CLO117. Familiarize with the application of these techniques in home furnishing  

Approach in teaching:

Demonstrations, Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Informative videos

Learning activities for the students:

Self-learning assignments, Class activity for sample making and product development

 

 

Assessment tasks will include Class Test, Semester end examinations, and Student presentations.

  • Planning theme based Home textile products using combination of techniques for two article of below mentioned category                                         32hrs
  • Cushion Cover/ Pillow cover along with bed spread
  • A Pair of Curtain
  • Table mats/ Table runner
  • Wall hanging
