Objective: 

This course will enable the students to –

  1. Create an awareness for the types of garments machinery available in the industry
  2. Develop an understanding about the selection of the right machinery for production of the required garment.
  3. Understand the functions of various types of machinery available in the garment industry
  4. Expose the latest practices and technological world of garment production

The Students will be able to:

 

  1. Identify methods of spreading techniques adopted by marker efficiency.
  2. Recall knowledge related to processes before, during and after production
  3. Familiarize with various machines, tools and equipment used in garment industry
  4. Inspect various materials and components of garment production machineries
  5. Interpret various garment finishing process and machineries
  6. Identify the  process for Inspection & Packaging

Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Power Point Presentations, Informative videos

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentations, Field trips
