Workshop

on “Button Masala Technique”

The Department of Fashion and Textile Technology conducted a Workshop on “Button Masala Technique” on 8th August 2016 . The resource person was Ms. Seema Chauhan, Lecturer in Ellen School of Art & Design, Jaipur. Ms. Seema Chauhan, an entrepreneur, running her own Boutique and Institute Fashion Paradise. This workshop was planned with aim to promote aesthetic sense towards draping and enhance the creative skills of the students.

Ms. Seema Chauhan demonstrated a new technique of draping of ‘Button Masala’. She demonstrated the creation of a dress out of  Buttons and Rubber Bands.

She also demonstrated the design development by using mirrors. She explained the techniques to apply buttons on fabric. These technique can be use on ladies garments. It was a very interesting workshop, students got great learnings.

Through this workshop young minds for creative thinking were stimulated.
