Objective: 

This course will enable the students to -

  1. To develop patterns by using draping.
  2. To enable the students to obtain perfect fit and harmony between the fabric & design of the garment
  3. To provide skills of draping to understand the human body proportion to get the required shape and fit of the garments.

        II: Basic Dress form                                                                        14 hrs

  • Bodice styles: Dart displacements, princess drapes, dart equivalence
  • Asymmetrical darts
    Halter style, off-shoulder, cowl, wrap front bodice.

 

   III: Sleeve block adaptation-                                                     06 hrs
