This course will enable the students to-

The students will be able to

Approach in teaching: Demonstration, Interactive workshops,Powerpoint presentations, Relevant videos, Market visit, Survey and Field visits to relevant Textile Dyeing unit.

  • Preparatory processes                                                                           05 hrs
  • Desizing
  • Scouring
  • Bleaching

 

  • Application of dyes                                                      30 hrs
  • Natural
  • Synthetic: Direct, Reactive, Acid
  • Prepare the colour shade card with various dyes according to the latest trend and forecasting                                                                                                                                                             
  • After treatment of Dyeing goods                              
  • Colour fastness testing of dyed samples  

 

  • Dyeing with Tie and Dye 

 

  • Collection and study of various fabric dyed textile samples                 10 hrs

Patola, Ikat, Pochampalli, Bandhani

 

  • Product development for home textiles/dress material through any of the above mentioned dyeing technique                                                          20 hrs                                    
  • Industry Visit                                                                                        10 hrs
