COURSE CONTENT
  • Introduction to elements of design                                              15 hrs

Line and form – geometric, simplified, naturalized, stylized and abstract

Color wheel –scale, value scale, intensity scale, color schemes and color ways                                                                                            

  • Introduction to block figure.                                                       15 hrs

 

  • Drawing stylized nude figure.                                                      15 hrs

 

  • Drawing of faces and hairstyle.                                                   10 hrs

 

  • Sketching garment details for: Neckline, Collars, Sleeves, Tucks,

            Pleats, Gathers, Yokes, Pocket, cuffs and belts.                         15 hrs     

                           

  • Making collage on theme.                                                            05hrs

                                                    

  • Rendering of various fabric according to textures– woven, tweeds, satin, denim, crepe,  tissues, chiffon, pile, suede and  leather          07 hrs
  • Rendering of various fabric according to prints-checks, stripes, floral, abstract, natural,
