Objective: 
  1. To introduce the major fashion capitals that affect styles and trends. 
  2. To trace the history of mass production and ready-to-wear.
  3. To recognize the influence of historic dress on contemporary fashion

  • To Study of current market trends for Apparel.                                                         04 hrs
  • Sketching of the men and women dresses on croqui according to time period         20 hrs
  • Designing men and women dresses according to the current trends taking inspiration from the following periods:

  • New Look (1947 -1956)
  • Mini and Mod (1957 – 1966)                                                                                    
  • Anti - fashion (1967 – 1978)
  • Power - dressing: (1979 – 1987)
  • End of century (1988 – 2000)
  • Looks and Designers of 21st Century.
