CONTENTS
Embroideries · Introduction to basic embroidery stitches o Create a sample of all basic embroidery stiches · Traditional embroideries: o Kashida of Kashmir o Phulkari of Punjab o Chikankari of Uttar Pradesh o Kantha of Bengal o Chamba of Himachal o Kasuti of Karnataka o Kathiyawar of Gujarat o Dabke ka kaam & Gota Patti of Rajasthan Study any one above mentioned traditional embroideries with reference to origin, technique, raw material, colours, motifs and layout with pictorial presentation and sample development |

· Resist-Dyed Textiles:
Design and create a resist dyed scarf using above mention techniques. |

· Printed Textiles:
Design, and document printing with proper layout for table cloth |
(10 Hours) |
· Painted Textiles: o Creating samples of Pattachitra, Madhubani, and Kalamkari in textile painting Develop a miniature painted textile artworks inspired by any one above mention painted textiles. |
