Unit I: 
Course Content:
  • Collect variety of samples & classify according to texture, fibre, uses.

 

  • Analyze the samples for:                                                                              45 hrs
    • Identification of fibers
    • Identification of weaves
    • Fabric count
    • Color fastness
    • Dimensional stability
    • Crease recovery, stiffness tester
    • Identification of Blends

                             

  • Suitability of variety of fabrics for ladies, children, men & household      45hrs
