Seminar I (Practical)
This course will enable the students to create awareness regarding current trends, issues and researches related to various aspects of Fashion, Textiles and Apparel.
CO 36 Assess and interpret current trends/ process /technical changes/designers in the field of Fashion, Textiles and Apparel through presentation.
CO 37 Compile comprehensive practical record and submission related to selected topic
CO 38 Cultivate verbal communication skills to converse effectively.
CO 39 Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction
GUIDELINES
- Students will prepare a report and present a seminar along with PowerPoint on the selected topic.
Current and Emerging issues in different areas (Anyone):
- Apparel Merchandising: Marketing, Management, Retailing, and Branding
- Garment Construction: Production, Fashion, Textile and Designing
The report should focus on in-depth study for the following heads:
- Title
- Introduction
- Current & Emerging issues
- SWOT analysis (Brief)
- Summary
- Conclusion
- References
The report should be approved by the mentor.
II.Appreciation of any One National and International Fashion Designers-Collecting brief history of their career, famous collections and participation in fashion shows.
