I           Introduction and collection of motifs                                                          9 hrs

  • Floral, geometrical, traditional and abstract

 

II         Repeat and its types:                                                                                     10 hrs

  • One way, two way, half drop vertical and horizontal
  • Enlarging and reducing designs
  • Choosing colors

 

III        Study of basic hand embroidery                                                                  9 hrs  

  • Flat – Running, Back, Stem
  • Looped – Chain, Feather, Button hole
  • Cross – Simple cross, Herringbone
  • Knotted – French Knot and Bullion Knot

 

IV        Machine Embroidery                                                                                   8 hrs

  • Running, Round, Satin, Velvet

 

V         Other Ornamentations                                                                                  9hrs
