Objective of the activity (workshop/seminar/activity/Visit):  To impart knowledge related to fashion trend analysis and forecasting

 

Description:

Department of Fashion & Textiles had organized a guest lecture on ‘Fashion Trends’ on 9th December 2021 to make students aware about the fashion trends for upcoming season. Resource person for the lecture was Ms. Shrishti Sharma, Fashion Vlogger and Designer. She gave presentation on up-coming with reference to fashion forecasting concept.

 

She discussed about the fabrics, colours and accessories that will be popular in the coming season. In the end of the session Ms. Shristhi conducted activities for better understanding for the students. One on one interaction was conducted with the students. Overall the session was fruitful for the students.

Outcome of the activity: The students were able to understand the fashion forecasting process and future trends with respect to colours, prints, textures, fabrics and accessories.
