COSD Fashion Designing

Objective of the Programme:
The objective of the orientation programme was to bridge the gap between students and faculties. To familiarize the students regarding the course structure with focus on credit system, examination scheme, course content and its importance. To aware the students about the programme objectives, department activities, college culture and best practices of the department.
Summary/Description:
Department of Fashion & Textiles organized an orientation programme exclusively for the student of COSD Fashion Designing (Certificate) on 17th September 2021.
The COSD orientation programme 2021 was coordinated by Dr. Vipin Kumari & Ms. Poorvi Agarwal. The session started with great motivation quote & the welcome of the students by Dr. Radha Kashyap, Head Department of Fashion & Textiles.
She brief the students about the Subject-wise Credits, examination system with reference to Continuous Assessment (C.A.) and Semester End Examination (SEE).Information regarding time table, infrastructure, library, departmental library and faculty profile was also briefed to the students.
Afterwards, Ms. Poorvi Agarwal provide the details of extra-curricular activities like industrial visits, guest lectures, workshops and many cultural events.
In continuation of Session, Dr.Vipin Kumari shared the best practices of the Department of Fashion & Textiles like Fashion Show and many more.
Twenty three students attended orientation session of COSD Fashion Designing (Certificate). In the end there was question answer session. All queries of the students were answered by Dr. Vipin Kumari. After completion of the Orientation students filled the feedback form.
Outcome of the Programme
Students were satisfied and interacted with faculties and were comfortable with the add on course opted.
