Activity: Departmental Orientation Programme

Department of fashion & Textiles organize an orientation Programme exclusively for the student of M.A./M.Sc. /M.Com. Fashion Design Semester I on 25th July 2018. On the day of the orientation session was taken by Prof. Radha Kashyap, Head, Dept. of Fashion and Textiles at IIS (deemed to be University) in the Draping Lab. She gave detailed information about the course structure with focus on credit system and its importance. Information about the examination system with reference to Continuous Assessment and Semester End Examination was also given to the student regarding activities being conducted in the Department infrastructure & metacampus. She also introduced the students with faculty members that will be taking by various papers in the semester.  There were eight students of M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. Fashion Design Semester- I, who attended the orientation. She also briefed the students about the Do’s and Don’ts at the university as well as brief introduction of how various collections  that were made for annual fashion show, their source of inspiration and a collective pictorial collection of glimpse of some rounds were also shown to them. At the end of the session, students filled the feedback form of the orientation programme.
