The Department of Fashion & Textile Technology conducted a Textile Guild Activity on the topic “Photo frames & Boxes” made by waste material & fabrics on 20.01.2017 in A- 403 . The resource person for the same was Ms Sunetra Datt , Asst. Professor , The IIS University, Jaipur. The demonstration was focused on making photo frames and boxes made by the waste material for girls through waste fabrics and materials.
Initially she cut the cardboards and fabrics in the shapes of frames , then covered the frames through waste fabric pieces and decorative materials and developed very beautiful photo frames. She also gave the materials to the students and students prepared some beautiful frames inspired by their own creativity.
Students learnt that how they can use waste box ,fabrics and materials in a very creative way. They also learnt the use of glue gun as an adhesive for designing purpose. The students showed their keen interest by participating in the activity. The demonstration was very informative and the students
learnt the techniques enthusiastically. This demonstration was very fruitful for the students as it helped them to create their own products in innovative style.
