Objective of the activity:

Fun and interactive session between the students of Fashion and Textiles.

Activity description: The Department of Fashion &Textiles organized a fun based learning departmental activity on 6th October 2021 for all the students of department. A total of 45 students participated which were divided into three groups of 15 students groups. The students participated in quiz actively. There were three rounds which were:

  1. In the very first round the students were shown the costumes of famous Bollywood movie characters and they had to guess the name of the character and the movie of the same. They were rewarded with 1 point for a correct answer. If the team did not get the answer right, it was passed onto the next team but the next team only got half a point for the correct answer.
  2. The second round was followed by guessing the designers by their pictures and couture. Each correct answer received 1 marks for the correct answer and 2 marks were deducted for the wrong guess.
  3. The last round had the pictures of Met Gala 2021. The students were supposed to guess the celebrity by their costumes. They were rewarded with   1 point for a correct answer.

 

The activity was concluded by Team C winning followed by Team B.  The teams include 45 students from different semesters; B.Sc. Fashion Design semester I, III, V and MA/ M.Com/M.Sc. I and III semester and COSD. The team of B and C consisted of following students-

Students gained knowledge from different activities prepared by the council members of the department Ms. Divyanshi Gupta (M.Sc. Fashion Design) Ms. Ambalika Mathur (B.Sc. Fashion Design) and Ms. Aastha Khandelwal (B.Sc. Fashion Design. Students participated in group activity and interacted with      students of the classes. They help the team members to get known each other.
