Overview

 


The Department of Fashion and Textiles was established in 1995. In the past 25 memorable years, it has fulfilled its aim of nurturing the creativity of students, equipping them with the traditional aspects of aesthetics, and ensuring their professional absorption in the fashion industry. The range of courses offered herein equips aspiring designers with both theoretical as well as practical base. Each student is also given individual attention which hones their creative skills and facilitates a promising contribution to the world of fashion.

The department offers the following undergraduate programs in B.Sc. Fashion Designing and elective programs in Garment Production & Export Management. At PG, level it offers M.A./M.Com/M.Sc in Fashion Design and Ph.D is also offered in Fashion & Textiles.

The curriculum and course structure are regularly updated to keep pace with current trends. Our endeavour remains to unite professional and managerial skills with their innovative talent thereby producing world- ready women.

From Textile Designers, Fashion Designers to successful Entrepreneurs, Merchandisers, Academicians- our Alumni have made a mark in all the chosen fields.
