The Department of Fashion and Textile Technology under the supervision of Mr. Dhiraj Jain, Gobind Ram Bros. conducted a demonstration on the new upgraded Brother Sewing Machine for the students of the department on 10^th January 2017 in the draping lab .

They first gave an interactive demonstration on the Aray single needle lock stitch machine to acquaint students on the features, benefits and ease in use of the industrial machines. Students were asked to try their hand on the new infrastructure and they found the working of the machines very smooth and easy to handle.

Gobind Ram Bros. brought their new updated version of the Brother Sewing Machine JA20 and demonstrated the different features in form of stitches for joining seams, embroidery, finishing and button hole making. The new features made stitching a fun activity where students could experiment with the new stitches and design patterns where required inspiring students from the department and giving them ideas for their futures in designing.

The session ended with a formal thank you and students were excited to know about the new sewing machines available in the market to make their work easier and more creative.
