Course content:                                                                                 

  • Introduction to Body Measurements                                                  4 hrs
  • Draft                                                                                                     10 hrs
    • Basic Child Bodice Block
    • Sleeve Block                       
    • Skirt Block
  • Design and prepare sample of following garment details using Child Bodice and Sleeve Block                                                                 30 hrs
    • Neckline Finishing: Shaped Facing and Bias Binding
    • Collars: Peter Pan, Chinese and Convertible (Using Fusing Machine)
    • Yokes: Straight, Round and V yokes     
    • Sleeves: Cap sleeve, Flared Sleeve and Puff sleeve
    • Button closure: zippers, snap fasteners, hook n eye
  • Design, Adaptation and Construction  of  any two Frocks             16 hrs
    • A-line, Gathered and Umbrella
