  • Design Studio – definition – management Skills required to set up a design studio
  • Identifying target market and customer
  • Selection of Design Studio name - types of Design Studio – low- end and high- end Design Studios.
  1. Infrastructure and Visual Merchandising     (10 Hours)                                                       
  • Choice of location and space management – infrastructure requirement
  • Visual merchandising – store layout – types of display – exterior display – interior display
  • Tools for visual merchandising – signage – props – mannequins – fixtures and lightings.
  • Performance management

  • Creating a business plan
  • Finding an ideal location & financial planning
  • Government norms to run a boutique
  • Inventory management, customer feedback register, stock register etc.
  • Interior designing & Exterior Designing
