Unit I: 
Course Content:
  • Drawing garment details:                                                                                40 hrs
    • Pockets, Necklines & Collars
    • Sleeves & sleeve finishes
    • Darts, Gathers, Pleats, Yokes
    • Frills, Ruffles, Cowls, Smoking, Quilting & Shirring
    • Skirts- Skirt lengths (Micro Mini, Mini, Tea & Maxi)
    • Pants- Pants length (Shorts, Jamaica, Bermudas, Walking shorts, Capri, Regular & stretch pants
    • Blouses, Shirts & Blazers, Jackets, Coats

 

  • Rendering with various medium and its application in Ink, Pencil & Pencil Colors, Pastels, Markers, & Pens, Water & Poster Colors, Charcoa          20 hrs    
  • Texture Rendering on Male & Female figures with swatches-   30 hrs
  • Woven : Satin, Denim, Crepe, Tissue, Chiffon, Georgette, Velvet, Pile,  

                                 Cotton, Net, Organza         

                Knitted: Herringbone, Tweed, Jersey, Rib         

Printed: Stripes, Check & Plaid, Dots, Floral, Geometrical

                  Others:    Leather, Lace

 

  • Photo Analysis                                                                  20 hrs

         Collection of pictures from magazines and creating new designs by using the        

          photographs (textures, colors, prints, designing).
