- Parts of a simple loom and their function
- Different types of looms- Shuttle looms- pit & table; Shuttleless looms- Rapier, Gripper, Multiphas, Airjet, Waterjet; Jacquard and dobby.
- Weaving- Developments in weaving. Automation in weaving machines.
