Objective: 

1. To sensitize /orient the textile and clothing SME’s to the concept of visual Merchandising

2. To explore the components of display and skills to make proper arrangement in such a way to increase the sale of unsought goods

 

Unit I: 
COURSE CONTENT

Study of fashion outlets and its segments to understand the window display and create a three dimensional display (window display) for a fashion retail store based on followings steps and best use of components of display:

  • Mannequins
  • Light
  • Music
  • Signage
  • Color
  • Graphics
  • Flooring
  • Props
  • Retail fixtures

 

Activity:                                                                                                                              20 hrs

  • Detailed product presentation of any one product
  • Identify the job description of Visual merchandiser
  • Identify various types of displays in retail malls in Jaipur city
  • Create display for Spring Summer using mannequins and backdrop
  • Create display for  Autumn Winter using mannequins and backdrop
