- Dart manipulation: Moving, Dividing and combining darts by pivot & slash and spread.
- Converting dart into: Seam lines, Gathers, Pleats, Tucks, and Yokes.
- Skirt Dart manipulation 10 hrs
- Moving basic dart by slash and pivot method
- Decorative darts
- Darts, tucks and pleats

- Style lines and yokes
Introduction to Grading 26 hrs
- Terminology
- Methods of grading- Tracks and Stack Method
- Grading children & women basic bodice, sleeve and skirt blocks various sizes.
Preparation of Portfolio
- Preparing pattern and grading of one torso design
