CO.217 Plan and develop document/report focusing on contribution of brands/designers in the field of green fashion.

CO.218 Design and develop upcycle products related to the concept of green fashion.

Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Power Point Presentations, Informative videos

Assessment tasks will include Class Test on the topics, Semester end examinations, /Quiz, Student presentations, and assignments

 

 

 

 

I: Documentation of contribution on green fashion of one national and one international designers                                                            

  • International Designers- Mark Morris, Andrew Sorense, Elena Gracia, Christy Dawn, Eelen Fisher, Stella Mc Carthy
  • National Designers- Anita Dongre, Samant Chouhan, Swati Argade, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Aneeth Arora

II: Case study of any two National and International brand working for green such as:                                                                                                                        

  • National Brands- Bhu: Sattva, Do u speak green, Fab India, Mother Earth, Anokhi, Doodle Age, Upasana,
  • International Brands- Patagonia, Levis, Eileen Fisher, Everlane, Outerknown, Veza

III:  Product Development: 

  • Students are required to upcycle materials for development of product on Apparel/Home Textiles.
