Objective: 
  1. Identify the latest fashion trends, styles, colours, and prints from fashion editorials.
  2. Choose styles, colours, and prints that flatter different body shapes.
  3. Create looks for different occasions using garments, accessories,, and makeup.
  4. Plan and execute a photoshoot to document their styling work.
  5. Create a personalized makeover for a client based on their style and preferences.
  6. Document their styling work through photographs and get feedback from others.

The students will be able to –

CONTENT

I: Introduction to fashion styling                                                               02 hrs

  •  Understanding the importance of trends, accessories, styles, silhouettes, color, and prints in fashion
  •  Analyzing fashion editorials to identify the latest fashion trends

II: Body shape analysis                                                                                04 hrs

  •   Understanding different body shapes and their characteristics
  •   Identifying styles, silhouettes, colors, and prints that flatter each body shape
  •   Practicing body shape analysis on models or classmates

III: Styling for different occasions                                                             10 hrs

  • Identify the latest fashion trends, styles, colors, and prints from fashion editorials.
  • Choose styles, colors, and prints that flatter different body shapes.
  • Create looks for different occasions using garments, accessories, and makeup.
  • Understand the dress codes for different events and occasions.
  • Create a versatile wardrobe capsule for different seasons and body types.
  • Conduct a photoshoot to document and showcase the styling work.
  • Discuss sustainable fashion practices and how to incorporate them into styling choices.

IV: Photoshoot planning and execution                                                     06 hrs

  • Understanding the process of planning and executing a photoshoot
  • Collaborating with a photographer and models to create a cohesive vision
  • Documenting the looks through photographs

V: Makeover                                                                                                  08 hrs

  • Understanding how to create a personalized makeover for a client
  • Identifying the client's style and preferences
  • Combining garments, accessories, and makeup to create a new look for the client
  • Documenting the look through a photoshoot
