Objective: 

This course will enable the students to help students gain familiarity with phenomena and achieve new insights. It also provides an understanding of basic concepts, approaches, and methods in conducting research, enabling students to appreciate and critique the nuances of designing a research study.

  • Measures of Central Tendency- Mean, Median and Mode, their merits and demerits
  • Measures of Dispersion- Range, Quartile, Deviation, Mean Deviation and standard deviation, Coefficient of variation

Research Report Writing:

  • Format of research report, presentation, bibliography, references.
