CONTENT:
Students are expected to select any one apparel production industry and prepare a report. They are required to visit the garment industry to make the report.
- Case study of an Apparel Production Process of the industry
- Overview: Apparel production process
- Fabric layout and pattern placement
- Calculation of fabric wastage
- Machineries & other equipment and its functions
- Stitching operations with its specialized machines
- Garment Finishing and Inspection
- Inspection & Packaging
- Case study on industry problem
Students are required to collect data and prepare reports on industrial visit with pictorial presentation.
