CONTENT:

Students are expected to select any one apparel production industry and prepare a report. They are required to visit the garment industry to make the report.

  • Overview: Apparel production process
  • Fabric layout and pattern placement
  • Calculation of fabric wastage
  • Machineries & other equipment and  its functions
  • Stitching operations with its specialized machines
  • Garment Finishing and Inspection

  1. Case study on industry problem

Students are required to collect data and prepare reports on industrial visit with pictorial presentation.
