Process of Designing                                                                     30 hrs

Motif development:        Geometrical, simplified, naturalized, stylized, symbolic ornamental and abstract.

Growth of Motif                   Enlarging and Reducing.

Color application                   Color Harmonies and color ways.

Layouts                                 Steps of layouts and its types: one way, two ways, all over& five star.

Placements and Repeats        All over, Half drop-Steps to create half drop, order-points to consider in border repeat, Square, Free flowing & Stripes

 

      Dyeing&Printing                                                                         30 hrs

Dyeing – Tie & Dye and Batik

Printing- Block, Stencil & Screen

 

     Preparation of an article using any of the above technique          10 hrs
