Activity Name: Modelling Workshop.

Introduction: The Department of Fashion and Textiles of the University organized a modelling workshop for the annual fashion show CREATIONS-25. The workshop was held from 07th – 24th January 25 and had 49 students from the university to participate in it. The objective of the workshop was to train the students in ramp walk and prepare them for the fashion show.
Participants: The modelling workshop had 49 students from the university participating in it. The students were from different years and programs. The students were enthusiastic about the workshop and eager to learn new skills.
Training: The workshop was conducted by David Emcee, a renowned choreographer in the fashion industry. He shared his experience and knowledge with the students and trained them in modelling techniques. The workshop was structured in a way that catered to the needs of the students at different levels of experience.
The workshop covered various aspects of modelling, i.e.:
Posture and walk: The students were trained on how to maintain a good posture and walk confidently on the ramp. They were taught how to walk in sync with the music and present themselves in a graceful manner
Facial expressions: The students were taught how to convey different moods and expressions through their facial expressions. They were trained on how to use their eyes, lips, and other facial features to communicate different emotions, while walking on the ramp.
Attitude and personality: The students were trained on how to develop a positive attitude and personality. They were taught how to exude confidence, charm, and grace on the ramp.
Choreography: The students were trained on how to synchronize their movements with the music and follow the choreography. They were taught how to move gracefully and elegantly on the ramp.
Coordination: The workshop was coordinated by Ms Garima Tiwari and Ms Disha Thapliyal, who were the teacher coordinators. They ensured that the workshop ran smoothly and that the students were engaged throughout the training sessions. They provided feedback to the students and helped them improve their skills.
Conclusion: The modelling workshop organized by the Department of Fashion and Textiles was a huge success. The students learned new modelling techniques and developed their skills under the guidance of David Emcee. The workshop helped to prepare the students for the Annual Fashion show CREATIONS-25.
