Report on “Choker out of Lace”

The department of Fashion & Textile Technology conducted a Guild activity for all students on “Choker Out of Lace” on 12.01.2017 in GPEM Lab. The resource person for the same was Ms. Aditi Vyas student of BFT 4th Sem from IIS University. A choker is a close-fitting necklace worn around the neck. Chokers can be made of a variety of materials, including velvet, plastic, beads, leather, metal, such as silver, gold or platinum, etc. They can be adorned in a variety of ways, including with sequins, studs, or a pendant.
All the students’ activity participated in learning the technique of making choker. Apart from the basic technique, students utilized their creativity and come up with some good pieces of designer choker. In all the activity showed their enthusiasm and as to how one can lead to various variations in the development of neckpiece using basic and innovative methods.
