A guest lecture was organized on Report Writing for post graduate students and research scholars of Fashion & Textiles. The lecture was attended 20 students.

The resource person for the same was Dr. Ruby Jain, Associate Professor, Department of Home Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She explained the structure of Report writing and dealt in detail different sections of report.

She explained the importance of reading research papers. She also discussed various data base for exploring the subject. She advised them to refer NISCARE and Google scholars. She highlighted that the most important rule of writing report is to remember the reader while writing. In her lecture described the rules for writing, preparing graphs and tables etc. and motivated students that it is a skill which can be acquired with practice.

The session was followed by the queries of the students. On a whole it was a beneficial to students which will help them in understanding the rules while writing the report.
