Objective of the Fest:
Pink Fest 2025 was a three-day grand celebration of art, heritage, literature, and culture, held at Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur. This first-of-its-kind initiative aimed to foster a cross-border cultural and artistic connection, providing an interactive platform for networking, and knowledge sharing among artists, art enthusiasts, and connoisseurs from around the world. The objective was to develop and aesthetic awareness among people while propagating traditions alongside contemporary artistic expressions.
Summary/Description:
Pink Fest 2025 showcased the confluence of art, artists, and artistry through various engaging activities. The School of Design participated by displaying students creations, emphasizing aesthetic awareness and artistic. Visitors explored the products displayed by students in the art exhibition, and highly appreciated their creative talents.
The students had the opportunity to interact with artists and visitors, exchanging ideas and insights. The festival featured a wide array of events, including:
Art Exhibitions: A platform for students and established artists to showcase their creativity through visual arts, crafts, design, and architecture.
Cultural Costume Walk: A vibrant display of traditional and contemporary fashion, celebrating Rajasthan's rich heritage.
Interactive Dialogues and Open Forums: Sessions that enabled discussions on aesthetic appreciation, literature, and the cultural heritage of Rajasthan.
Performing Arts & Classical Dance: Various artists performed live, highlighting the beauty of classical and folk-dance forms.
Workshops & Live Demonstrations: Renowned artists conducted live portrait-making sessions, engaging the audience in the creative process.
Talk by Prof. T. N. Mathur: The Vice-Chancellor of the IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur, Prof. Mathur, delivered an insightful talk on the significance of preserving and promoting traditional arts.
Additionally, literary discussions, book launch, film screenings, and art installations enriched the cultural experience. One of the major attractions was the live folk, classical, and theatre performances that captivated the audience.
Outcome of Fest:
The School of Design actively participated in Pink Fest 2025, with 16 students and 5 faculty members showcasing their creative designs. The festival provided a platform for cultural exchange, allowing students to interact with artists, explore diverse art forms, and gain insights into both traditional and contemporary art. Their engagement enriched their understanding of artistic expression and market trends. The event successfully promoted Rajasthan’s cultural heritage while fostering appreciation for evolving creative landscapes.
