Visit to a Manufacturing Unit

Department of Fashion & Textiles had organized an industrial visit to “Kandoi Impex Pvt. Ltd.” Sitapura, Jaipur for the students of M.A./M.Sc./M.Com Fashion Design Semester I, B.Sc. Fashion Design Semester III and B.A. / B.Com. Garment Production and Export Management Semester III & V on Saturday 15th September, 2018 under the supervision of Mr. Anil Kandoi (Marketing Manager), Kandoi Impex Pvt. Ltd.

 Kandoi Impex Pvt. Ltd. leading manufacturers and wholesale exporters of silk laces, Cotton tapes, twill tapes, elastic tapes, tussles, cotton lace fabrics, cotton bobbin laces, and cotton crochet lace.

Students got the opportunity to learn the Production process from concept to final product. They were introduced to different knitting machines like flat-bed knitting machine and circular knitting machine & finishing department.  Student gained knowledge about different types of knitted fabrics, laces and finishing of the same. 

The visit was conducted with an aim to give the students insight knowledge about the working process of a manufacturing unit. 34 students visited the unit and found the activity highly informative and useful.
