Students will be able to:

Enhanced Creativity and Innovation: Exhibit creativity in generating novel ideas, approaches and solutions, fostering innovations across various domains.

Reflective Thinking: Assess and analyze the processes and trends, innovation and technology of the global dimensions of fashion and other related creative industries.

Disciplinary Knowledge and Skills: Create and Design garments using skills to meet desired specifications, performance keeping social and environmental considerations related to fashion & Textiles.

Digital Literacy: Apply knowledge of computers and CAD software’s to create new designs for meeting the demand of fashion industry.

Multicultural Competence: Examine and evaluate traditional practices and methods to add value to products and create a balance between past practices and technological advancements.

Critical thinking, Analytical reasoning and Problem solving: Design and develop a systematic and critical approach for product development according to the recent trends of the Fashion and Textile industries.

Leadership readiness/ qualities: Develop an understanding for conducting a fashion event or run an enterprise in fashion and allied industry and imbibe leadership skills to manage its finances as per the industrial requirements.

Moral and Ethical awareness/ reasoning: Apply innovative thinking, consumer behaviour, technological competent and understand ethical behaviour and sustainable practices towards industry and environment.

Effective Communicator: Design and visually communicate ideas in the form of fashion illustration, styling, visual display of merchandise and able to write effective reports, design documents and deliver presentations.
