Objective: 
  1. To enable the students to design and create dyed & printed material
  2. 2. To make students understand an in depth study of the role of designer in tune with industry  as well as market requirement

  • Direct style: Transfer,Stencil ,Khadi Printing & Screen printing
  • Resist style: Batik printing on silk fabric

  • Colour fixation and treatments – steaming – curing- thermal fixing.
  • Students are expected to prepare creative samples and create saree, kurta , stole & scarf.                                                                   10 hrs
  • Development of ( any one) bags, pouches, yokes/ borders for desired products                                                                                        08 hrs
