  • Draping principles
  • Preparation of muslin before draping
  • Draping and Construction of Basic bodice and basic skirt block

  • Adaptation of Bodice:                                                                                                  
    • Manipulating dart excess at different locations
    • Dividing dart excess- Waist and side seam ; waist and shoulder
    • Dart equivalents – Gathers, pleats and tuck darts
    • Asymmetrical darts
    • Intersecting darts
    • Princess line
    • Halters
    • Cowl

(20 Hours)
  • Adaptation of Skirt:                                                                                                    
  • A-Line: Flared, Panel
  • Gathered
  • Pleated
  • Stylized yoke with flare, gathers and pleats
  • Peplons and Godets

(24 Hours)  

  • Construction of one Top and one Skirt/ Dress according to the current trend using draping technique
