2.    Develop the final sketches, fabric swatches, trimmings, ornamentation, and textures by experimenting.

The Students will be able to:

 CO.1  Describe the concept of forecasting   CO.2    Plan conceptualization  process with reference to designing 

CO.3   Identify andchoose appropriate fabric and trims for apparel

 CO.4   Demonstrate the process of garment range planning

Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Discussion, PowerPoint Presentations, Informative videos

Learning activities for the students: Report writing, display presentation and Survey conduction.

Assessment tasks will include Class Test, Semester end examinations, and Student presentations.

●                    Conceptualisation

o    Theme selection

o    Design development

o    Final selection

o    Market survey

o    Fabric & trims selection

o    Final design sheet development

o    Design specification sheet with complete details

●                    Transformation: Transform the ideas into fashion illustration for any one of the following categories:

⮚                   Male: Casual wear, Formal wear, Evening wear, Sportswear, Night wear, Festive wear

⮚                   Female: Casual wear/ Dresses, Formal wear, Evening wear, Swimming &Lingerie, Bridal, Night wear, Maternity wear, Sportswear, Festive wear

Portfolio Created will be carried forward for women’s wear
