CO63. Create designs and pattern/draft for kids wear according to latest trends  CO64. Plan market survey for selection of fabrics and construct garment with appropriate fit  CO65. Compile comprehensive practical record and submission related to garment making  CO66. Develop and cultivate verbal communication skills to converse effectively with examiners.  CO67. Approach in teaching: Interactive Lectures, Discussion, PowerPoint Presentations, Informative videos and demonstration.

Assessment tasks will include Class Test on the given topics, lab work, record book assessment,

Viva-voce, Attendance Assignment

 

 

CONTENT:

I.Sketching of the below mentioned kids wear at least 5 garments designs according to the latest trends in the export market.                        (12 Hours)

II.Selecting appropriate fabrics through market survey and estimation of material required.                                                                     (4 Hours)                      

III.Prepare patterns, cut, sew - press and fold the constructed garment and check the fit of the following on the dress form.                          (44 Hours)
