The Students will be able to:

CO.1  Analyze and prepare a report on any Indian handloom

 CO.2   Differentiate the production technique of handloom

CO.3  Evaluate the concept of handloom in contemporary apparel

Approach teaching in :Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Power Point Presentations, Informative videos

Learning activities for the students: Self-learning assignments ,report writing (Detailed document) and display presentation

Class test, Semester end examinations, Quiz, Solving problems in tutorials, Assignments, Presentation, Individual and group projects

GUIDELINES

●        Students are expected to select any Indian handloom and prepare a report. Information can be collected on the following for report making:

·         Evolution/ History                                                                                      

·         Raw Material

·         Tools and Techniques

·         Production Process

·         Visuals that depict the handloom textile (Following methods can be used to collect visuals: Old magazines/ Internet/ Local markets/ Government Emporiums/ Handloom Fairs/ Photographs)

·         Survey and reporting of application of selected textile in contemporary apparel

·         Students are expected to document the visuals/photographs of selected handloom.
