Objective: 

To develop the skills of apparel designing through a project on a garment designing using the inspirational objects as the theme for Line Development of the clients & for the fashion shows.

 

Unit I: 
Course Content:

Pattern Making

The students will develop patterns of all 8 garments as per the designs developed in BFT 406.

 

Construction

The students will construct and finish of atleast six garments as per the pattern developed

 

Presentation

Final presentation of the garments will be show cased in the fashion show along with music, design of souvenir and write up, fashion photography.

 

Evaluation

The final presentation will be evaluated on their creativity by the panel of examiners consisting of Head of the Department, external examiner and one appointed by the Registrar
