Report on “IGNUS, IIT Jodhpur”

Activity:   IGNUS, IIT Jodhpur

Venue: IIT campus Jodhpur  

IIT Jodhpur organized a cultural and techno fest “IGNUS” from 23rd to 26th February 2017 at IIT Jodhpur campus. Students from The IIS University participated in various competitions of the fest. Teams participated in Fashion show (Antarang), Group dance (Nrityansh), Nukkad natak, Mono acting, T-shirt designing etc.

Seven teams participated in the fashion show in which, The IIS University bagged second position and was rewarded with a cash price of Rs. 8000. Fourteen models walked the ramp and the theme depicted was women empowerment. It was an amalgamation of Striped Saga and Angel’s Army, Designed by the students of department of Fashion & Textile Technology, namely: Mitali Patni, Jyoti Yadav, Aishwarya Rathore and Jagveer Kaur.The judge for the event was Aaital Khosla, Miss India Earth 2015.

The students of The IIS University were very well appreciated by other teams, students had a great experience and it also motivated student’s to further participate and showcase their talent.
